The VI Peel® is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve skin tone, texture, clarity, and overall skin health. Unlike many superficial peels, the VI Peel® penetrates deeper layers of the skin to stimulate cellular turnover, support collagen production, and reveal healthier, more radiant skin. As we age, skin cell turnover slows, contributing to uneven pigmentation, dullness, fine lines, acne scarring, and sun damage. The VI Peel® works by exfoliating damaged skin cells while encouraging the growth of new, healthier skin, resulting in a brighter, smoother, more refreshed appearance. Each treatment is customized based on your individual skin concerns. Multiple VI Peel® formulations are available and may be selected to address specific concerns such as acne, pigmentation, melasma, aging skin, or overall skin rejuvenation. Treatment is comfortable and typically takes less than an hour. Following treatment, most patients experience mild tightness and redness before the skin begins its natural renewal process. Peeling generally begins around days 2–3 and may continue for up to one week. Will I peel? Most patients experience visible peeling, although the amount varies from person to person. Peeling is a normal and expected part of the skin renewal process. Can I receive a VI Peel® during the summer? Yes. VI Peels® can be safely performed year-round when proper sun protection and post-treatment instructions are followed. Daily SPF is essential to protect your results and maintain healthy skin. When will I see results? Many patients notice brighter, healthier-looking skin within one week. Improvements in pigmentation, texture, clarity, and overall skin quality continue to develop over the following weeks. How many treatments will I need? While many patients see improvement after a single treatment, a series of 3–4 treatments may be recommended for concerns such as melasma, acne scarring, advanced sun damage, or pigmentation.
